Thomas à Becket: murdered before High Altar -- In arch, below hanging lamp, Becket, wearing miter with infulae, kneels with hands extended. Opposite, one of two soldiers holding swords in right hands and small round shields (buckler) in left hands, slices into head of Becket with the sword. The other sword touches top of his miter. All within initial G.
