Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, nimbed, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to tau cross with titulus inscribed INRI. Flanking the cross are Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands raised, and Evangelist John, nimbed, holding book under left arm and with joined hands.
