Christ: Entombment -- Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea, both nimbed, lower into sarcophagus body of Christ, nimbed, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, with hands crossed on His abdomen, bleeding from wounds. Beside the sarcophagus stand Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with hands crossed on her breast, and Evangelist John, nimbed, with joined hands raised.
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament.
