Innocents: Massacre -- Woman, wearing headdress, mouth open, kneels, her arms around waist of soldier raising sword with right hand and holding with his left hand right arm of nude infant, bleeding from wounds. Another nude infant, bleeding from wounds, reclines on cloth. Man, wearing soft peaked hat, with knotted sash around waist, holding sword (?) with right hand enters doorway at right. In background soldier kneels, raising sword in right hand over infant reclining on ground. Horseman rides toward large group of soldiers, some only heads and helmets visible.
Exterior scene surrounded by buildings.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
