Shepherds: Annunciation -- Among three shepherds, the foremost two, wear hats and purses at waist, one carries bagpipe in hands, and behind them another shepherd, wearing hat and purse at waist, partly kneels, with left hand raised to head, looks up toward red angel in sky, holding scroll; flock of ten sheep.

Miniature within architectural frame, enclosing two standing figures, possibly prophets, in architectural niches.
Bottom of frame is inscribed with incipit of DEVS IN ADIVTORIV(M) MEV(M) I(N)TENDE from Psalm 70:01 (Vulg., 69:02).
