Christ: Betrayal and Arrest and Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus -- Judas, stands close to right side of Christ, crossed nimbus. Christ extends right hand toward Malchus, bleeding from right side of head, kneeling, holding lantern with left hand. Apostle Peter, nimbed, stands over him, raising sword with right hand. Two soldiers are at left, eight are at right, three holding spears, foremost touching robe of Christ. City is in background.
