Christ: Flight into Egypt -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, holding swaddled Christ Child, crossed nimbus, rides sideways on ass. Joseph the Carpenter, wearing hat, carrying draped staff over left shoulder walks at head of the ass.
Scene in landscape with buildings in background. Miniature in grisaille with gold and color detail.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament, in grisaille with color detail, inhabited by bird.
