Sylvester of Rome, nimbed, seated on bench, writes at desk, upon which is parchment with pseudo-inscription. Scene in room decorated with curtain.
Margin is decorated with foliate border, including daisies, thistles, and strawberries. It is inhabited by two nude men, astride unicorn, wearing collar, and horse.
