Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, crossed nimbus, with crown of thorns, wearing short loincloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus INRI. At left is Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, left hand on breast; at right is Evangelist John, nimbed, right hand draped, both hands on breast. Next to cross is scroll inscribed ECCE MULIER FILIUS TUUS.
Scene in rocky landscape with city in background.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including lilies and bunches of twigs, and inhabited by pheasant (?) and fantastic animal sitting on tail.
