David: told of Saul's Death -- With his left hand, Amalekite, points behind him at Saul, wearing chain mail, bleeding at neck, reclining on ground, his head resting on right hand, and with right hand, Amalekite extends crown toward David, crowned, holding scepter in right hand, indicating Amalekite with left hand, seated with legs crossed, on cushioned bench.
Scene on blue patterned background within initial F decorated with marginal extensions containing foliate ornament and hybrid with head of man.
