Christ: Flight into Egypt and Christ: Flight into Egypt, Miracle of Cornfield -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, holding partially draped Christ Child, nimbed, is seated sideways on ass. Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, wearing hat, holding with right hand rope from neck of ass and staff draped with garment (?) over right shoulder, and with left hand, crutch, walks before ass, looking back over right shoulder. In background, group of soldiers approach corn field next to which stands man wearing hat over hood, holding tunic as sack possibly containing seed. Rays descend from gold cloud.
Miniature and text framed on three sides by rectilinear bars of gold decorated with vine scroll. Margins decorated with border of vine scroll.
