Christ: Presentation -- Prophetess Anna (?), wearing turban and holding candle; woman wearing wimpled veil; and Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, holding basket with three doves, all stand or kneel beside Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, kneeling with joined hands raised before draped altar. Behind the altar and beneath canopy stands Simeon of Jerusalem, nimbed, wearing bishop's miter and vestments, holding in draped hands over draped altar nude Christ Child, nimbed.
Margins with foliate ornament inhabited by two fantastic winged animals, one with second face on abdomen.
