In left margin, monogram S is encircled by knotted and looped cordeli³•re (widow's knotted cord), with ends terminating in tassels, that extends behind four plaques inscribed 1) O CEST LA BONNE FUI, 2) TANT DE PENIE POUR, 3) ACQUERIR TOUT LAISSER, 4) FAULT ET PUIS MOURIR, and encircles monogram A below plaques. At upper right is a second monogram A, encircled by a knotted cordeli³•re, and at lower right, a second monogram S, encircled by a knotted cordeli³•re.
In center margin, floreate ornament.
