Scene, Liturgical: Obsequies -- Two tonsured priests, one holding open book, stand beside cross-inscribed draped bier, supported on two trestles, and surrounded by four lighted candles on candlesticks. To left is draped altar with lighted candle, beneath conical canopy. Behind low wall and bier stand three hooded mourners. Scene in interior with vaulted ceiling and tile floor.
Margins with ivy-rinceaux, floreate, and vinescroll ornament. Baguettes with floreate and interlace patterns in left, lower, and right margins. In right margin is medallion with rooster (cock). In lower margin are two birds, including one with wings extended, and the other with head tucked behind wings.
