Fable: Wolf, Goat and Kids -- Two kids (only heads visible), are behind wattle-fence attached to house. From behind the house approaches wolf. In background, goat grazes from bush. Scene in hilly landscape with city in background. Miniature for Aesop’s Fable of "The She-Goat, the Kid and the Wolf." Miniature framed by wreath with four ribbons and medallions, each medallion decorated with pair of wings as emblem of Louise of Savoy. Text summary in French verse is on facing page, within similar frame.
