Miniature:
Virgin Mary: Presentation -- Amid rays, young Virgin Mary, nimbed, carrying book with extended hands mounts stairs toward High Priest Zacharias, nimbed, wearing miter, standing before open doorway, flanked by four young women. In foreground, outside wall are Anna, nimbed and veiled, raising right hand and Joachim, nimbed, wearing hat, holding staff with right hand and basket containing two birds with left hand.
Margins:
Medallion enclosing bust of Evangelist John (?), nimbed, looking at open book held with both hands.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament inhabited by winged putti heads; flowers with faces; putti; head of fish with foliate termination.
