Jerome: Scene, fleeing Robbers in Desert and overcoming Dragons -- Among group of men (robbers), some wearing helmets or headgear, at least three holding spears, and the foremost holding shield, with dagger tied to waist, all chasing Jerome, nimbed, with sack slung over left shoulder, accompanied by group of monks, all tonsured and wearing monk’s habits, one also with sack slung over left shoulder.
At right, Jerome, nimbed, right hand raised, accompanied by group of monks, all tonsured and wearing monk’s habits, the Jerome and one monk with sacks slung over left shoulders, all flanked by horned dragons, issuing flames from jaws, one dragon transfixed by spear of one of two nimbed, flying angels; pool of water on ground.
