Two scenes within miniature:
1) Donatus of Arezzo: exorcizing Antilia -- Within architectural setting, Theodosius I places right hand on shoulder of daughter, Antilia, kneeling. Donatus of Arezzo, nimbed, tonsured, wearing deacon's vestments, raises right hand in blessing and grasps her arm with his left hand. Four men look on.
2) Donatus of Arezzo: Martyrdom -- Outside of architectural setting, two men wearing hats, one with dagger at belt, look on as executioner raises sword above head of Donatus (represented twice), nimbed, tonsured, blindfolded, wearing deacon's vestments, kneeling, joined hands raised.
