Against a gold ground, a pelican feeding her three young, rests on a garland of grapes and sheaves of wheat over an oval with an inscription. Below, acanthus ornaments support a garland of flowers and sprigs of tulips and roses. Frame consists of bands of burnished gold, dull gold, and foliate ornament.
