Half-figure of Pope wearing tiara, enclosed in initial F, looks toward left and extends right hand to right hand of cleric, tonsured, standing on foliage in left margin, looking at him. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on Saturday in Easter Week.
