Initials D and P enclosing heads of men, wearing hats, at Lesson in Sexagesima Sunday and Collect at Sunday in Quinquagesima. Initial L enclosing half figure of possibly Moses, with joined hands raised, looking up toward bust of God emerging from cloudy and rayed arc of Heaven, at beginning of First Nocturn, First Lesson of Matins for Sunday in Quinquagesima, Leviticus 8. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, inhabited by bust of man amid foliage flanked above and below by angels, one playing trumpet, the other holding scroll inscribed O(STE)NDE MI(CHI) (left); half figures of two men, wearing cap or soft hat, gesturing (upper and lower left).
