Christ: mocked -- Man kneeling as donor with joined hands raised before Christ, cross-nimbed, in lavender robe, seated on bench, blindfolded by two men holding ends of cloth, one wearing cap, both raising hands to strike Him.
Scene against gold diapered background, beneath cinquefoil arch of gable with pinnacles, in initial D with foliate ascender of headless animal hybrid, within diapered panel.
Beginning of first versicle of Lauds of Long Hours of the Cross / Hours of the Passion.
Margins decorated with foliate stems, balls, and bottom bar of scrolling foliage.
Margin, upper, inhabited by dog pursuing rabbit.
Margin, left, inhabited by bird, and by male musician, wearing cap, playing viol.
Margin, lower, inhabited by male musician playing bagpipe, and veiled female dancer, and two male dancers, one bending with hands on ground (Scene, Sports and Games: Dancing).
Margin, right, inhabited by female donor (donee?), wearing veiled headdress and mantle with vair-lined collar, holding open book with both hands, kneeling, on tip of foliate stem.
