Five angels present Instruments of Passion to Christ Child, rayed nimbus, seated on pillow on grass. First angel holds nail in left hand and points, with right hand, to His right foot. Second angel holds spear in left hand and points to His side with right hand. Third angel places crown of thorns on His head. Christ Child raises right hand toward crown. Fourth angel holds cross. Fifth angel holds nail in right hand, placing it above His left hand, held in the angel's left hand.
Miniature begins prayer O dulcissime Domine Iesu Christi.
Miniature and text framed by border decorated with flowers in vases, including columbine, pink and rose.
