Fantastic animal at lower left spandrel of decorated initial E with foliate bar enclosing two mounted knights, wearing visors, jousting with tilting poles or lances and shields, one decorated with heraldry of Neuville-Vitasse, all within spiralling tendrils issuing from jaws of fantastic animal, in upper margin.
Line ending: two fishes connected by knotted line.
Line ending: nude man, in jaws of fantastic animal, armed with sword and shield (buckler), before hybrid animal indicating its hindquarters and looking back.
Line ending: snail encountering soldier, wearing helmet and chain mail, armed with sword and shield (buckler), hurling javelin (Burlesque: Fighting).
Line ending: man, armed with sword, pursued by rabbit.
Line endings: geometric ornament.
