Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; cleric, tonsured, resting head on right hand, left hand on knee, sitting in lower margin below the initial S. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on Tuesday following first Sunday after Easter.
