Month, Occupation: December -- In farmyard, woman, wearing hat and headdress, holds long handled pan catching blood flowing from neck of pig on ground. Man, wearing hat, cutting neck of the pig with knife held in right hand, kneels on the pig holding front leg with left hand. Two children (youth) watch at right. Woman carrying bundle of grain emerges from building on left. In farmyard is barrel, dog and three legged table; wattle fence with gate is at edge of farmyard.
In distance is field with jumping dog, and three figures, one walking with pack on back, carrying staff; city is beyond the field.
