Upper half: Moses: Birth -- At left, man wearing hat, with joined hands raised, seated on ground next to draped bed in which mother of Moses, nude, veiled, seated, extending both hands holding infant Moses inscribed MOYSES, nude, with joined hands, to both hands of woman, veiled with wimple. Moses: in Bulrushes -- Father of Moses, wearing hat, with joined hands raised, walking through portal next to mother of Moses, wearing knotted headdress with wimple, carrying swaddled infant, inscribed MOISES, in basket with both hands. Moses: in Bulrushes -- Swaddled infant, inscribed MOYSES, in basket, floating in stream between two rocky outcrops each surmounted by tree. Moses: in Bulrushes -- At right, man wearing hat, standing in small boat, extending with both hands, basket containing swaddled infant, inscribed MOISES, in basket. Daughter of Pharaoh, crowned, inscribed PFARONIS TOCHTER, extending both hands to the basket; three women, one with joined hands, standing behind her. All from chapter 2 of Exodus Lower half: Moses: Child at Court of Pharaoh -- At left, nude Moses as child, inscribed MOISES, seated on lap of Pharaoh, inscribed PFARO, seated on throne with canopy, broken crown inscribed DI CHRON, at his feet. Right hand gesturing toward two men, one wearing soft hat, raising right hand, standing to right of the throne. Moses: Child at Court of Pharaoh -- Two men, each holding bowl, one with red balls (coals?), standing before nude Moses, inscribed MOISES, raising object to mouth with right hand, held by man with draped head. Four other men standing at right, two wearing hats, one raising right hand. All from apocryphal sources, not part of Exodus narrative.
