Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, crossed nimbus, eyes closed, head inclined, bleeding from wounds, wearing short, diaphanous loincloth, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus INRI. Cross is flanked by Virgin Mary, crossed (?) nimbus, veiled, head inclined, hands crossed on breast, and by Evangelist John, decorated nimbus, looking up toward Christ, raising right hand, holding book with left hand. Skull and bones are on ground at base of the cross.
In upper margin, inscription DIE UENUS and CAPITULUM
Rectilinear frame enclosing text and miniature decorated with foliate, and vining floreate, ornament.
