Zone 1:
1) Joseph: Brethren recognizing Joseph -- One of four brethren kneels with joined hand raised toward Benjamin embraced by Joseph, wearing vair-lined mantle, before chair within building. To right, servant, with staff in right hand, conducts brethren through portal (to house of Joseph). Illustration of Genesis 45:14,15.
2) Joseph: Brethren, Feast -- One of four brethren conducts Benjamin to Joseph, wearing vair-lined mantle, embracing him. To right, Joseph, with knife in left hand, is flanked by three brethren; two hold vessels and one holds pitcher. All sit at table on which are bowls and loaves. In foreground, servant, with staff in left hand, kneels, extending bowl toward one of the three brethren. Illustration of Genesis 43:15 or 43:26-29.
Zone 2:
1) Jacob: told of Joseph's Position -- Behind wagon (chariot) filled with chests and two cups, and two laden camels, five brethren stand. The foremost raises his right forefinger to his left palm extended toward bearded Jacob, wearing cap, with hands raised, seated on cushioned bench with footstool. Illustration of Genesis 45:25-28.
2) Joseph: Pharaoh, Jacob presented -- Five brethren stand behind wagon (chariot) laden with chest and two vessels. Joseph presents bearded Jacob, kneeling, with right wrist clasped by left hand of Pharaoh, crowned, holding scepter in right hand, seated on bench with footstool, accompanied by two attendants.
