Month, Occupation: April (?) -- Among two men, one seated beside pedum, holding hen in lap, beside cock, herd of sheep and one ram, with one lamb suckling. The other man, grabbing hind legs of ram, in doorway of barn, beside ladder propped to hayloft (?).
In background, woman, wearing kerchief and apron, with right hand on handle of churn, in doorway of building (Scene, Occupational: Churning); another herd of sheep and hens and cock, wheel turned on its side possibly used as table, strewn with vessels.
Scene in farmyard with fence and trees in far distance.
