Scene, Liturgical: Obsequies -- Priest, tonsured, stands before open book on altar draped with patterned fabric and with canopy and retable decorated with icon of Crucifixion, flanked by two clerics at ends. Behind the priest stands bier, draped with patterned cross-inscribed pall, on trestles, framed by four lit candles in candlesticks and processional cross. Behind the coffin, three hooded mourners in black, one holding open book, sit in choirstall decorated with patterned fabric.
Scene in architectural setting of church with windows and rib vaults, all within arched gold frame.
Margins with foliate border decorated with with grapes.
