David: communicating with God -- David, with vair collar, with joined hands raised, kneels looking up toward bust of God, nimbed, raising right hand in blessing, and holding globe in left hand. He is in arc of Heaven amid rays. Angel, raising sword with right hand, hovers below Him. Before David harp rests on chest or bench; hat with crown is on floor beside him. Behind him is throne with canopy, carved with crowned woman, seated, flanked by two men, one with joined hands, both standing on corbels.
Scene in room with decorated wall and tile floor open to landscape with trees, hills and body of water.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament and inhabited by man, holding shield with left hand and raising club with right hand and by animal, possibly horse, being eaten by fantastic animal.
