Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing crown of thorns and loincloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus inscribed INRI. He is flanked by Virgin Mary, veiled, with hands clapsed, and Evangelist John, with joined hands, both with decorated nimbi.
Scene in landscape setting with city in background and starred heaven, all within arched gold frame surrounded by foliate border.
