Month, Occupation: December -- In upper left margin, man wearing apron, raises with both hands, sledge hammer above pig standing at his feet. Sheaf of grain (?) in background. All in walled yard. Zodiac Sign: Capricornus -- In lower left margin, fantastic goat with serpent-like hindquarters, in landscape. Margins decorated on three sides with border of floreate ornament including dianthus, rose and viola.
