Heraclius: Scene, bringing Cross to Jerusalem -- Within initial D, angel, nimbed, holding sword with right hand, looking over walls of city of Jerusalem; Heraclius, crowned, carrying cross before the walls. Margins decorated with border of vining floreate ornament, largely unfinished. Helena, Empress: Scene, adoring Cross (?) -- In lower margin, medallion enclosing Helena, crowned, holding scroll, before cross. Left hand grasping the cross. Unfinished, most detail barely visible. Text is collect for Lauds on 9.14, feast of Exaltation of Holy Cross
