Half-figure of man wearing hat and garment with high collar, facing left, raising left hand, enclosed in initial A. Margins decorated with foliate ornament and gold balls; in lower margin below initial A, cleric (?), possibly tonsured, seated bent forward, head down, hands on knees. Pen flourished initials. Text is seventh lesson, third nocturn for Matins on second Sunday after Easter.
