Two scenes within miniature divided by architectural settings:
1) Apostle, Bartholomew: destroying Idols, and healing Demoniac -- Within temple, two idols fall from columns. Demoniac flails arms. Apostle Bartholomew, nimbed, wearing white robe, holds book in left hand and raises right hand in blessing. Behind him stand two men, one holding scepter.
2) Apostle, Bartholomew: Martyrdom -- Within second room, Bartholomew (represented twice), nimbed, lies nude on table. Two executioners flay his skin with knives. Group of men, including one holding scepter, look on.
