Saul: anointed -- Saul kneels with joined hands raised toward Samuel, wearing high priest's vestments, holding horn of unction in right hand and crown in left hand. Scene in room with tiled floor, wooden ceiling, and wall hangings.
In upper, lower, and left margins, ivy-rinceaux foliate decoration.
