David: anointed -- Two men, including Jesse (?), both wearing hats, flank David wearing ermine-lined mantle, with hands raised, seated on draped throne, anointed by Samuel, wearing high priest's vestments, holding horn of unction. Scene with foliate background.
In upper, lower, and center margins, ivy-rinceaux foliate decoration.
