Theodore of Thebaid: Scene, visited by Mother and Sister -- Within cross-surmounted monastery, group of nuns (most with only heads visible), all veiled with wimples, wearing nun’s habit, accompanying woman, wearing headdress, with right hand raised and with left wrist grasped by another nun, veiled with wimple, wearing nun’s habit, raising left hand beside high-backed bench.
At right, hooded monk, possibly Theodore of Thebaid, raising right hand, accompanied by group of ten tonsured monks, all wearing monk’s habit, the foremost, with right hand holding book.
