Christ: Presentation -- Simeon of Jerusalem, wearing pointed high priest's hat, stands with joined hands raised beside draped altar with carved retable, all beneath canopy. Beside him stands man, wearing hat, and veiled woman. Before the altar stands Virgin Mary, with rays as nimbus, veiled, holding partially draped infant Christ Child, nimbed. With the Virgin Mary stand Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed; woman, wearing hat, with joined hands raised; and young girl, holding basket with doves. Scene in interior of temple, with arched leaded-glass windows, colonnettes, and arched doorways.
Margins with architectural frame, rendered in perspective. In left margin is chapel, with draped altar with lighted candle on candlestick and side curtains, and on wall, icon (?) of Christ, with rays as nimbus. In lower margin is font, surrounded by benches.
