Christ: Betrayal and Arrest and Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus -- Judas embraces Christ, cross-nimbed. He is surrounded by six soldiers, wearing helmets. They hold spears, halberd, and banner. At left are three men, wearing hats. At right, Apostle Peter cuts off ear of Malchus. Scene is in landscape setting, within decorated initial P.
Margin is decorated with floreate border, including bundles of pine cones, inhabited by putti, birds, and deer. Crosses are in center of upper and lower margins. Above cross in upper margin is head of angel.
Christ: before Herod Antipas -- In lower margin, vignette contains four soldiers wearing helmets, one holding spear. They stand behind Christ, nimbed, with hands bound behind back. He stands before Herod Antipas, wearing hat, seated on throne, holding scepter in left hand and extending right hand. He is flanked by two men, one of which wears hat.
