Scene, Liturgical: Burial -- Priest, tonsured, wearing alb, stole and cope, raising aspergil with right hand and looking toward open book held with left hand, stands next to grave. One of two grave diggers kneels at head of grave holding shoulders of enshrouded body. The other grave digger, wearing hat, stands in the grave holding legs and feet of the body. Metal tipped shovel and pick lean against wall. Two acolytes, tonsured, one holding processional cross stand at left. Four mourners, wearing black hoods stand at right.
Scene next to building with porch; wall and building surmounted by cross in background.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including dianthus and rose, and inhabited by hooded falcon, and by man with crossbow in left margin aiming at monkey showing hindquarters in lower margin.
