Christ: Circumcision -- Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, and Prophetess Anna, wearing hat, holding basket with two doves, stand behind Virgin Mary, nimbed. She supports Christ Child, nimbed, nude, seated on altar below hanging canopy. Mohel, wearing pointed hat, extends draped left hand toward Christ Child and holds knife in raised right hand. Behind him stand two men, wearing hats.
To left of Joseph and Anna are three figures, two women, including one with pseudo-inscriptions on hem of dress, and one hooded figure with back turned, standing near doorway leading outside.
