In right panel of vignette in lower margin is man, with wight hand holding knife to neck of pig. With his right knee and left hand he holds down the pig, laying on trestle table, with blood from its neck flowing into bucket below the table (Month, Occupation: December). In background are distant mountains.
Amid foliate ornament in left margin are two pairs of birds facing each other.
Miniature and ornament executed in grisaille and gold tones with color accents.
