Hermit at left holds lantern, from which rays shine toward Christopher.
Scene with body of water bounded partly by rocky shores, cattails growing in foreground, walled castle, windmill, and city (?) in background, ship towing small boat in water.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament.
