Holy Women: at Sepulcher -- Within initial D, angel sits on lid straddling sarcophagus. Of three Holy Women, nimbed, next to the sarcophagus, one, with joined hands kneels next to ointment jar; the second, veiled with wimple, stands with right hand on breast; and the third, wearing headdress, holds ointment jar with right hand. Cloth is draped over side of the sarcophagus.
Scene in grassy area enclosed by wattle fence.
Margins decorated with border of foliate ornament inhabited by bird, possibly crane; hybrid man wearing miter (bishop); hybrid man with bird body holding flower stalk with right hand; man holding bannered spear.
