Miniature:
Magi: Adoration -- Virgin Mary, decorated nimbus, seated, holding with both hands, Christ Child, decorated nimbus, in her lap. He raises right hand in blessing and extends left hand toward eldest magus, crowned, bearded, with moneybag at waist, kneeling and extending covered gold vessel toward Him. Two other crowned magi, the middle-aged with short beard and the youngest, beardless, stand behind the eldest magus, facing each other. Both magi hold gold vessels. Joseph the Carpenter is behind other figures, his left hand raised. In background, Star of Bethlehem emits rays shines through window of wall upon figures.
