Trinity -- Two Persons of the Trinity, both wearing crossed nimbi, sit on chair. Person on left makes gesture of blessing with right hand and Person on right holds cross-surmounted globe in left hand. Between them they hold open book (possibly representing Word), with pseudo-inscription. To right are four angels in camaïeu. Scene in front of starry sky.
In room, looking through window in which the Trinity appears, is crowned man, probably Charles VIII, wearing armor on legs, sword at his side, and mantle decorated with fleur-de-lis. He stands with hands raised beside bishop, wearing miter with infulae, holding crozier in right hand and open book with pseudo-inscription in left hand.
Scene within architectural frame.
Margin is decorated with foliate border, inhabited by bird and by fantastic animal.
