Confessio Amantis: Scene, Constance of Rome traveling to Barbary and Constance of Rome in Exile -- At left, three men stand on gangplank to ship: one wearing tall soft hat and fur trimmed tunic, raising right hand and holding lance in crook of right arm; second man wearing fur lined hat tunic, with joined hands; and the third man, orant, wearing hat (?) decorated with gold and red cape, and fur trimmed tunic. Constance, wearing large turban type of headdress with jewel, and fur lined gown, bows at bow of ship. At right Constance, wearing large turban type of headdress, with joined hands, stands in small boat.
